I am a Clinical Social Worker offering therapy for adults, youth, couples, parents/caregivers and their children in a trauma-informed safe space to process emotions or difficult life experiences. I am a Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers with Masters in Social Work and Special Needs Education Psychology. Since 2003, I have been working as a Clinical Therapist in private practice, community based and hospital settings in Germany, Nova Scotia, Vancouver and Squamish.

I work with individuals and couples of all ages and with a variety of concerns including unresolved trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, self-harming behaviour, losses, grief, identity, burnout, substance use concerns, relationship and attachment issues. I also provide services for parents and caregivers with children experiencing anxiety and behavioural concerns. I am committed to creating a safe space for clients of different gender identities.

I am trained in leading trauma modalities, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I have also completed training with the Linehan Institute to provide Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. My clinical work also integrates Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

My approach to counselling is client-centered, non-judgmental and collaborative, encouraging you to tap into your innate wisdom and strengths. I work holistically with thoughts, feelings and the body to help open doors to the fullness of your present moment experience.

In addition to my private practice, I work as a team lead for the Vancouver Coastal Health Mental Health and Substance Use Services Team in Squamish.

I offer individual and couples therapy in English and German. Most extended health insurers recognize my services.
