Bernd Mueller, MSc, MSW, RSW
I am a Clinical Social Worker offering therapy for adults, youth, couples, parents/caregivers and their children in a trauma-informed safe space to process emotions or difficult life experiences. I am a Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers with Masters in Social Work and Special Needs Education Psychology. Since 2003, I have been working as a Clinical Therapist in private practice, community based and hospital settings in Germany, Nova Scotia, Vancouver and Squamish.
I work with individuals and couples of all ages and with a variety of concerns including unresolved trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, self-harming behaviour, losses, grief, identity, burnout, substance use concerns, relationship and attachment issues. I also provide services for parents and caregivers with children experiencing anxiety and behavioural concerns. I am committed to creating a safe space for clients of different gender identities.
My approach to counselling is client-centered, non-judgmental and collaborative, encouraging you to tap into your innate wisdom and strengths. I work holistically with thoughts, feelings and the body to help open doors to the fullness of your present moment experience.
