I founded the Squamish Counselling Clinic in 2013. I have a masters and Ph.D. in depth psychology and I offer services over Zoom. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), which is recognized by many extended health care insurers. I focus on the integration of the mind, body, and spirit to establish a sense of inner peace and wholeness. My approach is to care for the soul with loving compassion and create a safe and supportive environment for individuals in their explorations.

Depth psychology addresses the interaction of conscious and unconscious elements, bringing the latter into consciousness. We will often work with dreams and the body to address the symbolic level in the unconscious. In this way we work on the underlying issues.

"Symptoms" may present as addiction, depression, anxiety, relationship, or work struggles, additionally feelings of purposelessness or loneliness may be present.

Sarah Jeffrey, MA, CCC, Registered Psychotherapist

My counselling style is dynamic. I steer clear of ‘one size fits all’ thinking. I understand each of us as having a unique set of circumstances that leads us to seek support.

As such, I take an integrative approach and pull from multiple evidence based practices. The primary disciplines informing my therapeutic orientation are Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Gestalt and Hakomi principles, Buddhist Psychology and Neuroscience research.

The keystone of my work is mindfulness awareness. This creates space for unconscious, often times maladaptive beliefs and behaviors to surface, which we unpack and make sense of together.

I believe that there is often an intelligent explanation for our behaviors. Even when they’re harmful and outdated, they’re serving a purpose. I prefer to organize and make sense of why we do what we do rather than pathologize.

Helen Croza, MA, RCC

I am a Somatic Psychotherapist, Registered Clinical Counsellor, and Founder of the Feminine Path to Well-being – a kinder approach to health and fitness. My approach to therapy is holistic; an integration of 35 yrs. of mind and body education and experience helping people heal. I began as a Registered Massage Therapist, and quickly saw the connection between my client’s physical issues and emotional state. I saw the need to work holistically – mind-body-spirit – from a Western science-informed perspective. I attained my BSc. (Psychology) from the University of Calgary, and my Masters in Counselling Psychology (Specializing in Body-oriented psychology) from the California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco.

I work with adult women specializing - food and body issues, relationships, health issues, anxiety and depression, trauma, burn-out, overwhelm, personal growth and spiritual growth.

My clinical work draws on Somatic therapies (Bodynamics, Hakomi, and Somatic Experiencing), Cognitive Behavioural, and Family Systems. I integrate health and embodiment practices: breathwork, somatic movement, mindfulness meditation, hydrotherapy, essential oils, and nutrition. My work acknowledges the social and cultural influences that may have played a role in ones life experiences.
